ReplyDeleteThe default settings on this TV provide an excellent picture quality and I didn’t have to adjust anything. However, for the more demanding users, there is a choice of built-in presets as well as option to customize and modify the settings. The gorilla glass does provide very nice black contrast, but it does reflect any light you might have in the room. So the picture quality is great if you have a really nice dark room, but a place like a living room with many windows probably isn’t a good place. My wife and I bought this to replace an older tube TV in our bedroom. Since we don't have much room we were looking for something less bulky, thin, and with a great picture. Indeed the picture is clear, sharp and really awesome for the size. We also use it with our DISH HD DVR for TV and Blockbuster@Home for the video streaming features and it's consistently reliable with both. Good thing a co-worker from DISH recommended this TV because I almost went with a Vizio!
